Our Process

Brewing is a blend of art and science and we take both things into account when creating new beers as well as mastering our core recipes. The tools of science give us the ability to give form to the creative vision we see in our minds and can taste on our palates. We believe in the big four ingredients at River City Brewing, malt, hops, water and yeast, as the primary contributors to the beer tasting experience. That said, we are not scared of playing around with other ingredients to achieve our goals. Our ingredients are of the finest quality, most sourced near to our home city. Bright, bold and aromatic hops from the Yakima Valley, US grown malted barley and other grains, and the great water from our inland northwest region. Add various yeast strains, cultivated from all over the world, and brewing takes the shape of a beautiful glass of beer ready to enjoy.
